The Oxford Martin Programme on the Future of Food supports a number of interdisciplinary research projects at Oxford University and works with a number of different research groups in order to promote and improve our understanding of the food system.
Livestock, Environment and People (LEAP) Programme
Livestock, Environment and People investigated the health, environmental, social, and economic effects of meat and dairy production and consumption. LEAP finished in April 2024.
TABLE works with food system stakeholders to explore the future of food. The team focuses on the ways in which scientific evidence and social values inform often conflicting visions and arguments for necessary change.
